In my work I tend to allow the material to inform my art. I also find inspiration in the often-overlooked and attempt to make it the focus of my work by recreating the emotions that minute details evoke in me. These details can be anything from subtle patterns in nature to simple stories or tales that I have come across and which have piqued my attention.

Rebecca McEwan

Working in mixed media, Rebecca's work reflects her deep interest and curiosity of the natural world.
